mcd Australia has undertaken an investigative feasibility study for the conversion options of Level 2 599 Brunswick St an existing sixteen room boarding house. Study included -
• Architectural schemes for the conversion of level 2 into a number of options including -
• 1 or 2 bedroom apartments (able to be strata-titled); o Open plan offices/commercial space o Up to a dozen serviced offices & associated infrastructure
• Backpackers accommodation
• Design resolution for a lift and an additional stair case to meet building certification requirements for each option
• Development brief compiled informing the design guidelines including general market comment/specifications for residential and commercial development in the subject area, building certification requirements and the town planning parameters for each option.
• Cost planning including an overview of the required construction works
• Feasibility Assessment prepared on the resolved schemes based on current market leasing and sales rates.
