The Acacia Marketplace was positioned over 2 hectares in the heart of Acacia Ridge with Woolworths as the anchor tenant, and over 28 specialty stores. The property’s future potential was at risk due to decades of just surviving. MCD Australia compiled a masterplan, looking at various redevelopment options in order to prove up an outcome that would ensure the centres continued growth into the future.
A staged re-development was undertaken to maintain existing tenant trading, and ALDI and KTAS were secured as new tenants and purpose built buildings were redeveloped.
