CHL partnered with the Queensland State Government to deliver a number of Affordable Housing projects to the drastically under supplied housing market. MCD Australia was pleased to be assisting CHL with a number of these sites.
The Miami housing development lies on a 2029m2 lot requiring demolition of existing structures, and extensive site remediation made project logistics more challenging due to the adjacent development of the Gold Coast Light Rail works.
The project consists of 33 units set over four storeys, 22 x 2-bedrooms and 8 x 1-bedroom plus 3 Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) units. 35 parking spaces are provided at ground level, as well as roof top community facilities with greenspace, shelter, BBQ and kitchenette, plus 99kW of solar panels.
The housing development was completed in July 2025.
