ROLE:
MCD Australia was again please to assist Churches of Christ (QLD), whom in partnership with the Queensland State Government delivered a 50 bed affordable housing option to help offset low rental vacancies and rising accommodation costs. The development also included 10, two bedroom specialist disability apartments.
The construction contract was awarded in early 2022, however following the collapse of the Main Contractor just 3 months prior to Practical Completion, PPQ Group took over the contract six months later, to complete the project in April 2024.
