Following the addition of the old ‘Custom Credit House’ heritage building on Queen Street to their portfolio, LaSalle undertook numerous refurbishment and tenancy refit works to reposition the asset as high-quality commercial offering.  MCD Australia was engaged as Project Manager for several of those elements, including the complete renovation of the tired and dark street level Lobby with new wall treatments, marble and granite floors, seating alcoves and furnishings, as well as upgrades to glazing, lighting and signage, all in keeping with the heritage aesthetic.

Additional works included installation of new fire rated window on a single level of one façade, and full height, operable sashless windows to several levels of the rear façade to create a contemporary indoor/outdoor space within the tenancies.

As the building is listed on the QLD Heritage Register, considerable approvals, exemptions and coordination was required with Council, the Heritage Department, contractors and project Architects to ensure preservation and compliance was maintained.
