The purpose built industrial facility for Maxitrans, a large supplier of heavy duty road transport trailers, is one of three facilities being constructed within FIFE Capitals’ Silica Street Industrial Estate.
The Maxitrans warehouse development consisted of a 11,000m2 factory assembly line space and 2,200m2 parts warehouse storage, 1,300m2 office space and amenities over two levels, with loading areas and parking for 188 cars. The project required a Change Application to the original DA which was undertaken concurrently with services authority and operational works design and approvals, prior to a D&C tender. Bulk earthworks commenced in July 2019 and the project was handed over in September 2020.
